Return policy

Overview

Our refund and return policy is valid for 90 days from the date you receive your hair accessories. If 90 days have passed since you received your item, we are unable to offer a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your hair accessory must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging. If your return does not meet these conditions, we will not accept the items, and they will be refused and returned to you. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Situations Where Only Partial Refunds Are Granted:

  • An item with obvious signs of use.

  • Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

  • Any item returned more than 90 days after delivery.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned hair accessory. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your credit card or original payment method within 3 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund, please:

  1. Check your bank account.

  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take 3 business days for your refund to be officially issued.

  3. Contact your bank, as refunds typically take 3 business days to process. If you’ve followed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@petalwardrobe.com.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced hair accessories may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace hair accessories if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same hair accessory, send us an email at info@petalwardrobe.com and mail your item to:

Shipping Returns

To return your hair accessory, mail it to:

You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. The time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location. For more expensive hair accessories, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

In the Event of Damage

You are responsible for inspecting your hair accessory upon receipt. Any damage incurred upon receipt must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported immediately. Damage not noted on the delivery receipt will be considered customer damage and will not be covered under warranty. If not reported within 14 days of receipt, defects or discrepancies will be deemed acceptable, and no returns or exchanges will be accepted. We will work with you to resolve the issue to your satisfaction. If you choose to return damaged merchandise, the purchase price, taxes, and shipping costs will be refunded.

Proof of Purchase

A proof of purchase, such as your original receipt, is required for any exchange, return, or service claim.

Credits and Refunds

  • Taxes paid will be refunded.

  • Shipping costs will not be refunded unless the returned hair accessory is found to have a manufacturing defect or was damaged in transit.

  • A restocking fee will be charged for hair accessories returned or exchanged for reasons other than manufacturer defect or damage. The restocking fee does not apply to smaller accessories as defined by our terms.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, except for cash or check purchases, in which case a company check will be issued and may take up to 3 business days to process.

  • If an item is purchased using a Reward Certificate and returned, the Reward will be forfeited unless an exchange of equal or greater value is made at the time of return.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure the hair accessory is suitable for your needs. Items returned or exchanged due to size or style preferences will be refunded in the form of a store gift card only, less the initial shipping and/or restocking fee.

  • For items picked up locally, refunds will be processed once the items are received and inspected at our warehouse. Depending on your pickup location, this may take up to 3 business days.
